What Do You Want Santa To Bring Your Teardrop?

Postby shootr » Sat Nov 22, 2014 7:51 am

I should be sleeping in my camper right now, but instead was overruled that it's too cold to go (30-60 at the campsite this weekend - that ain't so bad!!!) so at this quiet morning hour I'm figuring out what else to get or do to the trailer in preparation for the next trip - whenever that may be.

Top of my list is LED strip lights http://www.ebay.com/itm/151450151240?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

like @coyote spoke of in another thread: http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=61524#p1101001

to put under the camper to set the mood when out enjoying it.

I also want window drip caps too from http://www.teardrops.net/teardroptrailerparts.html#lights

So what's on your holiday list to add to your trailer?

Can a TTT person chime in? Greyce needs a Fan-tastic fan, bike/trike rack and solar battery charger. If Santa was only delivering one I'd pick the fan.

Since I don't have a back galley like the traditional teardrops I need one of those folding camp kitchen table set ups so I can prepare food, wash dishes, etc. without having to crouch at ground level :R Though the closed trunk of my car worked ok as a prep area at the IRG, it'd be nice to be able to set up behind or alongside the trailer.

I am thinking a new Dexter #8 or #9 for "Kermit"
That would really accelerate my time frame on this build.

LOL Just rub it in nevadatear! I already knew I got there too late as it was. Missed out on a lot of fun times and seeing Christina N. (aka Tiny Yellow Teardrop) :( Though it was nice to have her space after she left  But I'd have rather seen her

LOL Brian. Am loving the snow cones out here in MI :R Actually enjoying winter more than summer so far. NO MOSQUITOES! Though I am looking forward to a visit out west. Hoping to make it out to the Dam Gathering next year but not sure it'll be feasible. Keeping my fingers crossed. Since most of my trips were traveling with my trailer vs. camping I really didn't need the folding kitchen last year. But the more I've camped the more I realize there isn't always going to be a picnic table handy like at a lot of the state and rv parks.

After I posted yesterday I remembered I did have a nifty idea for a slide out through one of my side windows. If only I knew someone handy with lots of tools who could make it for me

I am thinking of another tarp/cabin to enclose the rear of the tear so that it can be heated for colder weather just starting in the concept phase.
Everything else works too well to mess with
