Free Scotty Axle

Good Evening.
I have frame with axle from a 1967ish 15 foot Scotty trailer. While suffering from delusions of grandeur I thought might actually rebuild the trailer and live happily ever after. Since that never happened I want it to go to a good home.

I am offer the axle and frame at the low price of $ 0.00. Come and get it. I live about an hour from New Orleans in the 70374 zip code. While the photo shows one of the hubs off, I have the bearings safely tucked away. Once the bearings are repacked and wheels installed (you provide) I am confident it would follow you home nicely.

I have no paper work other than an a Scotty ID placard from the unit.

Over the years every time I drug a project vehicle home my wife usually said, "I hope somebody gave you that". This fit's the bill perfectly, it's free.......... go for it!

If you like just the axle I would be ok with chopping up the frame. We just put our house on the market & I need to clean up.

You may have already done this but I would put this on craigslist not as an axle but as a full chassis. Post it in the RV section for free not the free stuff section. Mention the vintage trailer angle. If it has a drop floor mention that. I want it personally but an too far away and there are alot of restoration people who might want this.
