How the journey changes, not honoring the ten foot rule

Postby Graniterich » Wed Jan 14, 2015 11:19 pm

In October I started my build, simple cheap and functional . water proof, I live in so Cal never rains, stored in garage who needs all that epoxy, weather stripping, aluminium. I will just keep it simple. Then I found this site, you all inspired me to take my time, and put some love in her. So I went Woody with aluminum top for my build.
Today I decided that the 5 coats of polyurethane we not smooth enough on passenger side (the side you guys may see) so I sanded it with 220 way down. From ten feet, hell one foot, no one will know the difference when I am finished . I will redo with thin coats on teardrop time. How things change

Ten foot!!!!!!!! I am doing some body repair on an Isuzu Trooper. I hope for a 100 foot job. My work would probably drive Vedette nuts. The top is a bit wrinkled. Looks to me that a VW Beetle would fit up there. Air chisel the top of the Trooper off and pop rivit a Beetle on.

8) 8) 8)

How does that sound?
