Sketchup

Postby Vedette » Wed Jan 21, 2015 1:11 pm

Over the weekend my son was up from the coast to watch the Football with me.
While he was here he showed my "Sketchup" on his Apple laptop.
We drafted the kitchen for Kermit!
Now I have some great "plans" as PDFs that he emailed me as attachments so I could print them off of my laptop.
I would love to share them with you guys, but I am not very computer literate.
Where are you Gage old buddy.....I need help again.
I will PM you with details if you don't see this.

Sketchup of the "Kermit" Kitchen? We must be on the same wave length!! I was at a "Bed and Bath" store the other day, and after seeing and buying one for my trailer, I found another that I felt Kermit needs and got him one also for his kitchen!! Now that I got your "wondering" wheels rotating - stay tuned, it will be delivered by April. Take care.

If you can't get someone to put your pics up before tomorrow night Brian, shoot them to me and I'll post 'em for you after work (6-ish).
I'd like to see what you guys cooked up for Kermit.

Should be able to add PDF file as 'attachment' IF the board software has set "permissions" for that file type...

How about it ADMIN'S is the permissions set to attach PDF files?

OR you can convert PDF picture to valid graphics file format of JPG or GIF or PNG by "selecting" pic in PDF and using "Snapshot" feature (of PDF) to "print" it to the computer in a proper picture format, than you can upload (attach) it... Have a person that sends me pictures all the time and only way she knows to save (and she has used computers all her life) them is in PDF and MOST website/forum software will not accept them to display...So I use "snapshot" feature to break pic out of PDF into GIF or JPG or PNG...

Here is just one "how to"...

http://www.investintech.com/resources/b ... ments.html

You can paste image (from clipboard) into Word, or Paint or I prefer IRFANVIEW as a graphics manipulation program...
