Camper info help

Postby Jst83 » Mon Feb 16, 2015 5:31 pm

I'm looking at a camper I'm hoping the guy will part with :worship: hasn't been plated since 2010, and he sounds like he's ready to part with it.
Any way he says it's a 1973 Fan, it says Lee FAN Liner on the front looks about 14' or so. No the odd thing the door is on the back and not the side.
I can't find any info or pictures on this model after hours of serching the internet :? any help with a site with pictures would be great.
I did find that FAN stands for Franklin A. Newcomer and came out of Wakarusa IN starting in 1965 that's about all the info I have.

Thank You for all you do

Sounds interesting. See if you can get some pictures of it. I tried to goggle it too but didn't find anything.Larry

Scott,

Lot of rare examples out there...

Fan was a low end model, just a basic inexpensive camper.

Here is another of that era;

Use the term "rear door" in your search; might be a couple references out there.

If you like it, you should get it!
The usual cautions apply though... most owners don't know how much rot their old trailer really has hidden in the ceiling and walls.
"its just a little water stain"...never is. :shock:

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

Was able to get pics, still haven't been able to catch the guy home after the first time

Couldn't get them shrunk in photobucket so you'll get some good detail of the dirt :lol:

Hmmm..two propane tanks. Does that mean gas stove, water heater and furnace? There's no duct tape on it right now, right?
