Yep, started a blog

Postby Java Jack » Sat Mar 28, 2015 12:54 am

Decided to follow the likes of few others here and kick off a blog. Needed something to go with the videos and pictures I am capturing while camping and talking to others about teardropping.

So, here is the first in what might be many, we'll see how much I have to blab about.

Thanks. I figure it would be fine to write down my experiences and share so that others might learn from my victories and mistakes.

Ever have one of those moments where everything just clicks together and you realize you have found exactly what you have been searching for? Here is the story of how we found teardrops and our moment of discovery.

I know most people hear fall in the Build crowd but I discuss the Build vs. Buy in this week's edition of the blog.

http://cre8tiveapps.blogspot.com/2015/0 ... l?spref=fb

So, did you build or did you buy?

Sweet Blog Java Jack. What I've found is my TD is a convo starter and not for the shy or reclusive.
Enjoy, Chris

Thanks. Yep, a TD seems to be very much an attention gatherer. I know one person that actually sold their TD because they would just get too much attention every time they went camping. He was looking for peace and solitude yet he would get so many people that wanted to see the TD it was just too much.

There was a lot of interest in side tents on a FB group as well as in my thread I posted earlier in this forum. So I wrote up how I modified a Privacy Tent and made it into a side entrance tent and posted it to my blog here:

Really enjoyed the DIY side tent with entryway post and video! I'd been wondering how hard it would be to do that. Now I know it's within reach once I get a new sewing machine. Keep up the great work. Your blog is a great resource for those considering and those who already own tiny trailers.
