Teardrop camping, finally over!

Postby Roly Nelson » Wed Apr 01, 2015 12:47 am

I knew my teardrop days would not last much longer, since I met a sweet, lovely and huggable 83 year old gal that has captured my heart. Sadly, she has no interest in "those little trailers" and I had to decide if I wanted a new octogenarian love life, or keep my 3 teardrop trailers, which I have enjoyed so much. When I placed them on Craig's List, the sale of them all, resulted in almost giving them away, but now they are gone forever. So with a sad heart, I am posting this note to say goodby to my many camping friends and trust I may someday once again cross paths with them. However, I do want to wish you all a very happy April Fools day, which by the way, is my favorite day of the year, and hope you enjoy another of my dumb jokes.
:( :o  :NC All my love, Roly ~~

Ah, it's April in your time zone already huh Roly.

I was set back this morning ! I frequent a few county roads on my way to work and one is prone to going under water during long episodes of rain.
Well the county has actually installed flip down signs that warn of high water closures. This morning as I turned the corner onto that road I read HIGH WATER ROAD CLOSED! I was half upset but soon realized it hasn't rained for a week or so. Some one wanted me to be their April Fool.
Growing older but not up !

:D Roly, my dear man, I know you well enough to know that this was your annual prank, as you'd not part with all your TD's so quickly....

but did you really meet a compatible lady??
:lips:

I hope so, as I am still a happily married newlywed.
Love ya,

ha!--
Roly, the 80's are just the youth of old age- now when you finally do get to be old, they have already designed the perfect camper for you! (driver's license optional)

Roly, My nephew and I enjoyed having dinner with you Saturday evening at the Lake Perris gathering pot luck. You are a very good story teller. So, I didn't get too worried when you pulled your annual April Fools Day Prank.

As I read, I was wondering how, at your age, you could suddenly be so whipped. :NC "This won't last," I thought.

Ya got me. Hook, line and sinker.

Happy April Fool's, Roly!
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

Well it was nice meeting and camping with you Roly. I knew you would give it up someday for the ever desirable female companionship! I wish I would have had a shot at buying one of your unique trailers, especially at a bargain price. I loved your wooden toaster and dish antenna. Thanks for all the memories. From one old guy to another.
