Well after ten years and 30 campers I have decided it is time to sit back and enjoy my senior years a little more. Effective May 1st, the doors will close on the camper shop, and bring a close to a chapter in my life that I have enjoyed immensely. While it was actually more of a hobby than a job (don't tell Laura), I really enjoyed building unique units that I took pride in creating. No two were alike, and I preferred that method over building copies. I think my customers were in the same vein. And it was all because of this forum that the interest took off. Thanks Mike for the foresight and trouble to help generate the desire to camp simpler than a big white box!
I may still dabble a little, and still have a customer base for vintage camper repairs, but most of the wood working machinery was sold this weekend, and the rental building will be vacated on the 1st, so "dabbling" will be minimal.
Now...lets get on with camping. Which is why we all do this in the first place, isn't it?
Oh and I still have another full time job so boredom will not be allowed!
