Window blinds with built in window bezel?

Postby Hennesseystealth » Sun May 10, 2015 12:40 pm

My son-in-law was watching an infomercial or equivalent on RVs and campers. He saw a window blind system that had an integrated bezel for the window. I have tried searching but can't find anything like that. We haven't trimmed out our 15x18 awning windows yet and thought if I could find these in my size it would kill two birds with one stone...unless they are as expensive as I would guess they are.
Thanks

My guess is that the blinds were integrated with the windows. In Europe, some of the Dometic Seitz windows have this feature.

try a search for RV windows with integrated blinds. ( assuming that is what you mean)

My searches don't come up with anything useful. I think all the window treatment companies have bought all the searches that use the words blinds, shades, etc. Nothing but spare parts and home decor shows up. I did find out that Little Guy uses them and have sent them an email to see if they can tell me where they get their's. I already have the windows installed, so if it is a truly integrated system, then I am out of luck.

And perhaps the ultimate is their double cassette system where a fly-screen rolls down from the top and a black-out blind rolls up from the bottom, both ending in a sliding bar with latches to clip them to each other:

I checked out the Dometic International catalog and that is what he saw. Pretty expensive.
