Update on Question for teardroppers in Northern California

Postby Phooey » Mon Sep 14, 2015 4:42 pm

For a while now I have been searching for a company to replace the graphic on the front of our teardrop as it has become extremely sunburned and rather unsightly. I have contacted several companies in Sacramento (the one we used before is out of business) and been lucky to even get a "kiss off" response. I have seen a number of beautiful wraps and graphics on trailers at gatherings we have been to so I know it can be done. Does anyone know of a place within 50 miles of Sacramento? I have put on decals but do not want to tackle this one myself. 4'11" by 10'6" and going around a Fantastic Fan. Thanks for any help that you might know.

Have you tried Prism Wraps in Rancho?

I know they do ATV's/ATV trailers, so they might tackle a tear.
Have Fun!!!

I use these guys in Modesto. Great family run business and affordable quality work.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I can definitely tell people who not to try in the future. Vehicle Wraps, Inc. in Sacramento had good reviews but when I contacted them they couldn't get off the phone fast enough. Wrap Concept in Roseville started out well enough and then gave me the "we lost your e-mail, sorry about that, can't help you". If Prism can do ATV's and ATV trailers hopefully they won't be afraid of a little teardrop and a little field trip to Modesto sounds like fun.

With many, many thank yous to RedneckTeepee and his suggestion to try VHSigns in Modesto we got to meet some of the nicest, most talented people and get the most FANTASTIC graphic to replace our old sunburned one. Working with Charity was a dream and the fellows that did the installation were most skilled. Our old graphic had sunburned really badly and was looking more than pretty sad. Now our little trailer is all dressed up and ready to go camping.

If anyone is looking for a wrap or a graphic and is within driving distance to Modesto this is the place to go. Our drive was about 2 hours and totally worth it. If you go and want to have lunch while you wait give The Sandwich Shop a try. It is within walking distance from the shop.

:D :D

Looks wonderful Phooey... I'm glad you had a good experience at VH Signs. Yes they are wonderful people with good old fashioned "Mom and Pop" family owned service which is hard to find these days. I've been using them off and on for about the last 10 years for various projects and can say that they are more than willing to make sure you get the end result you want to achieve. Again looks wonderful!
