New name for my trailer. "Aluminimal"

Postby ratrod71 » Sat Oct 17, 2015 4:11 pm

I have come up with a new name for my Teardrop, which is "Aluminimal". I wanted a word to capture the minimalist nature of these trailers, as well as being skinned in aluminum. It is a bit of a tongue twister but that is part of the fun. Whatcha think? :)

I am getting real close to the finish line! I am ready to skin the exterior with aluminum and trim it out. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.

I like it.

I'm reading between the lines and thinking you are going to do some kind of graphic on the outside with the name. I'll be curious to see how you do it.

Yep Tony, I am still trying to decide on the placement and what material to make it from. May go vinyl graphic to match the "Hugger Orange" I plan to paint the fenders, or have it cut out of aluminum sheet with a waterjet that a local shop has. But it will be the font shown. Thanks, Bryan

Maybe an animal you like and 3D it in aluminum?
AlumiNIMAL
Is it possible, FULL RV in a 48 Sq.Ft. footprint & stay under 500Lbs wet?
SHE thinks teardrops are "cute" but I prefer a SKOSH mo-room & at 65+ the
body doesn't react/extract/move/mend/bend/lend or work like it use'ta.
NOW! Those unwanted guests moving in, Mr. 'Arther I. Tus' & Ms. DVT (grrr)

It might be old but still cool... (PinkFloyds) Flying Pig, AlumiNIMAL
Our trailers are trying to be BIG yet stay as LIGHT (as possible) and TETHERED to a vehicle.

I think you have a good word concept there.

Its hard to name something you expected not to matter to much and justcserve a purpose.

Quite right Dales.
A name sometimes ends up as something else or different.
A word or an idea spurns other ideas or phase's elsewhere.

THEN you have us who toss in the proverbial left handed monkey wrench. :?

Aluminati would also be a fun name.
