Bocce ball?

Postby roamer » Wed Jan 13, 2016 6:02 pm

Found this in a car getting ready to be scrapped.138795

Didn't know what it was, never played. Sounds like it will be finding its place in our trailer. Sounds like fun! We can play on our next trip!

There are two sets in the family, and we always have a hoot when we get together and play. Its nice because almost all ages can play, almost anywhere, and gets everyone outside. Good find. Dave

Standard camping equipment in our family. But we use a low cost heavy- duty set due to the typical rockiness of undeveloped campsites.

Are there different types of sets? Since this is the only one I've seen I feel a little ignorant.
I was surprised on the weight of these. I guess one needs to be careful where it is thrown!

Practice up!......if you are coming to the Farm Gathering.
Bocce is very popular at summer Gatherings! We have lots of space, so practice your "long" game.

Look forward to the Farm gathering! Need to get our passports.
I hope the playing field is really big. No one needs one of these landing in the wrong place!

One of the Farm rules is to keep your balls under control. so as no Teardrops are damaged.
