Finally making some progress on the trailer. Had to make some modifications to make everything work out. I used HDPE plastic as skin. 2x2 for walls and 2 inch insulation roof, floor and sides.

Frame is built like Fort Knox! Don't see a lot of 2x2 construction.

Have you had any problems with expansion or warping of the HDPE skin? I love the idea, but always been too scared to try it.

I know it's too late to ask this questions, but is the HDPE UV-stabilized?

It does expand and warp. But goes back the original form after it cools. I am working on a solution to reduce the warp. I have added a few more screws in the joints to hopefully fix the issue.

I had some issues initially with leaking I tried plastic welding it didn't work as well as I had hoped due to the expansion and contraction.

I am also hoping when I add the inch foam between the studs that it will also help with expansion and contraction. I really wish I had went with a rounded nose but so far everything has worked out really well. The maiden voyage was completed last weekend. Went well had lights and needed a heater.

This weekend is the second adventure. Now I have a fridge.

Sorry yes it is UV and chemical resistant.
