If you started out with Spam and eggs, why "progress" from there? I love my Spam.slowcowboy wrote:Let me explain I started out camping with a popup camper stove and metal plates washing dishes and cooking fried spam and eggs ...
I started camping with my 4x8 TTT, at 63 (when I first ventured out with it; it'll never be "finished"), 30+ years since I was active outdoors (racing doesn't count). Now a few years later, I have the same trouble pulling on my pants lying down, so I'm altering my 4x8 to accommodate my new physical infirmities; I love my TTT, and don't see the need to build another. Progress isn't always for the better; appreciate what you have.Tripmaker wrote:I started with a 5x10 teardrop in 2006 when I was 56. Ten years later I built a 6x12 standee teardrop as pulling on my pants lying down became more difficult.
