I think it's a Class C toy-hauler motorhome. I knew guys that hauled their toys around in similar vehicles, and ended up staying in motels because their expensive Class C had been stuffed with toolboxes and other gear, leaving little room for anything else. They were set up for :toy" storage, maintenance, and travel between venues, not for sleeping and camping. So, my guess is that somebody bought a trailer to supplement their motorsport toy addiction with on-site living quarters.
living quarters towed behind a toy hauler ??
Not the way I'd do it; but, I never camped at a dragstrip (my motorsports addiction). However, I once was at a dragstrip where I saw a Prevost Class A motorhome towing a Hummer 1, and a 8-9 sec. pro stock doorcar...that's the way to really flaunt your money!

It would be a good way for parents to travel with their grown kids. Given the popularity of eclipse watching, my guess was that the TD owners "carpooled" with the RV owners, but brought along their own sleeping rig. A few years back my Dad pulled my TD to a camp ground behind his RV so that I could come straight from work. Tom
