So far, just toast and tea, knees are giving me some backtalk today, but so is the lawn, I might need more tea before getting out the mower.

Nice phone Tom, from back when hanging up on some jackwagon (3-4 times) had therapeutic gratification.
I'll be done when I'm finished, if that's not fast enough, take a number.

We have a box that connects my wife's mothers old phone to our cell phones via Bluetooth. You can even use the rorary dial, except we don't remember anyone's phone number anymore. We get a lot of funny looks from friends when that old phone rings and we answer it.

LOL You sohuld get one of the slim line push buttons, then you can brag how you've upgraded.

I remember changing from rotary to push button, I had a heck of a time remembering phone numbers. Now I only know 4 numbers, mine, Mrs Bosses, 911 and for some reason Lynnwood Honda which I haven't called in nearly 30 years.

The guy at the antique store (check out, not the vendor selling the phone, who of course I never met) mentioned one of those. I'll have to look into it. I remember seeing a hack twenty years ago on the interwebs by someone who modified a flip phone to bury in a 500 model for desk use. I liked the idea at the time but never tried it.

Remembering numbers isn't a problem for me because I don't like talking to anyone on the phone anyway. I like phones; the party at the other end, often not so much. :R

I went down a couple of those rabbit holes before I found this place, a lot of click bait on those sites, I hate click bait, like a lot :x

I also hate Pinterest with a passion. Clients send me pics of stuff from there saying this is what I want, and there are rarely any details as in Mfg. etc.

Did you build it or just fitting it out.

I bought it. It's used and needs some TLC. Nothing challenging. I built a drift boat in 1985 and swore and oath I'd never be without one... So much for that gaol.

But I'm whole again.

Me too... and I don't have any. I built it for a steelhead guiding business and it went with the sale of the business. That was in 1987 and seems like a lifetime ago.

But I'm happy to be back in the saddle! This is on the Salmon River a couple of miles from our home. The boat makes for a quick getaway. And yeah, my wife is on the oars. Scary. ;)

My truck was in desperate need of some TLC. The finish had failed on the Go Rhino running boards. I stripped them back to bare metal and primed them then sprayed them with leftover bedliner from my teardrop build. Next up was a paint correction. Though my truck is only 6 years old, it looks like it had been run through auto touch car washes since brand new. The paint still had a nice shine but when the sun hit it right you could see tons of fine scratches and swirls throughout the entire truck. I did a two step paint correction starting with a medium cutting compound then following that up with a polishing compound. I topped all that off with a ceramic wax treatment. The results were pretty incredible. I got probably 95% of the scratches out leaving behind only a few of the deeper imperfections. The clarity of the paint is night and day from what I started with.
