Looks pretty good, to me.
Embrace it.

Shelly built an adjustable easel out of scrap wood

to help with close work on her minis (doll house furniture).

Last week she built a downdraft table to help catch dust from sanding

I had some olive wood from Tucson in the shop, & have been using some for knife scales, but some of it is pretty small & narrow. There's some nice grain in some of it with warm cream tones & black highlights, but it's not really big enough or clean enough to use for scales which need to be 1 1/2" wide. I'm cutting 10" long tree sections on the table saw & slabbing it to make it into workable lumber. There's always a use for small hardwood scraps, we just need to figure out what it is & how to use it. Here's what I came up with, a throwback to the 60's & 70's.

167802.

If you can remember the 60's, you weren't there, & remember, don't trust anyone over 30!

Set up the tractors for snow operations at both houses.
Changed out a bad sump pump.
Never got into the shop.

I attended a cosplay party at my friend's place. I wore a Japanese traditional dress along with a Kabuki demon mask.

Took 10mg of oxycodone and lay down to await death.
Death being somewhat late to the party, I'll wait as long as I can (label says 4 hours) , then take another 10mg and try to get some sleep.

Will present for a voluntary Covid test in the morning, then try to find a doctor who is willing to consult face to face.
Throat is raw, weeping red plasma, my ears feel like some bastard shoved in an icepick, I can't keep my balance, can't sleep, and most importantly I can't swallow even a sip of tepid water.

The oxy didn't fix the pain, but it dulled it enough to temporarily allow me a swallow of water.

Mick, I hope you get some relief and feel better soon! Sorry to hear you likely got Covid.

Thanks, mate.
The conventional wisdom is that the vax will lessen your chances of getting it, and reduce the severity if you do get it.
Assuming for a moment that I have stumbled across a nugget of truth amongst all the BS, I can only observe that the un-moderated 'rona' must be a bitch pf the first order.

Very sorry to hear this! Hope you get to see the doc--it may not be covid. Might be something like strep throat, for which they have some pretty effective antibiotics...

Whatever it is, hope you recover soon! :worship:
