Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

I finally got around to fixing the wheel well after the blowout last fall. I painted the sides with bedliner, screwed some galvanized sheet over the small hole in the front and replaced the mudflap.

Made masks for family today. Elastic is hard to find. Used 3 hair ties on each side.

Here a couple YouTube links for making masks
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fySsaOojEVM&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR3KnpXpnAb0_yF_gfkXiKdzTp57Goocj4KcTFzbtqCYWRi2AmViLgdP0SE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xL8ctct0Dz4

This has a lot of information on cloth etc and you can find a template to download for the basic pattern,
https://www.vox.com/the-goods/2020/4/1/21203241/coronavirus-diy-face-mask-homemade-tutorials?fbclid=IwAR2XZ6y77V4SgV2n9aaniWmZ5VetlghCIUi9EbIMkto8AUNABkXKbXBZHoM
If it does not load at first, hit reload.

A different one from NYT INCLUDES TEMPLATE for the main pieces which you can print as a PDF file
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/31/opinion/coronavirus-n95-mask.html

Fortunately, without tinypix I am finding it hard to upload pictures so you will not see my first attempt.

Mine has two layers open on one side so I can insert the Blue Shop cloth as the major filter and replace it.

This site is very good http://www.fabricpatch.net/face-masks-for-covid-19-relief.htm
It is very thorough including fabric recommendations.
They use a strip of metal from an aluminum cooking pan to keep the nose area tight.
I may adapt mine with small pocket to replace the metal strip. It is not strong an may wear out from use.

Stay Home. Be Safe. :D

Working on another batch of blades, just to pass the time. These were left over from heat treating done when I still lived in Tucson, working on finishing them a little at a time. This one is 1084 steel (yes, it rusts if not properly cared for) with olive-drab canvas micarta. Small knife, just 5 3/4" LOA, but a good slicer.
