Did some cold weather camping and hunting on BLM land neat Fort Rock a few weekends back. Next weekend at Ft. Stevens for clamming and fishing.

Ft Rock is such a cool place. Wish I could have been a kid growing up playing in that area. Thanks for the pictures.

We were North of you up by Pine Mountain. We camp all over the desert.

Wish I’d seen this earlier! Could’ve been available. lLeslie Gulch would’ve been a bit far. We camp all the time around Central Oregon. Two weekends ago we were out by Pine Mountain.

Wish you had seen it. We would have loved camping with you. Pretty short notice. And misnamed I guess. 60 degrees could hardly qualify as winter camping. We had a great time, good food and always fun getting to meet new people.

Dirty, that is a nice camp setup.

Ft. Stevens clamming was good, limits in 45 minutes.

Didn’t use the sidewalls to make a hot tent, but did use the tent attachment on the ez up for a fishing buddy to stay in.

We did get 31F however so the hot tentcwould have been welcome.
