Hope your pandemic is going well.

I have been testing out a 9ft folding kayak. There is always room for this boat in the car. Assembly is under 5 min and same for taking it apart.

If you paddle distance you might want a 12' or 16' boat.

Portability and ease (no roof rack needed) of this boat is good if you have reasonable expectations.

Tucktec boats are about 9 ft too and comparatively inexpensive. But I think the Oru is more polished and well designed.

For a person who wants to open the trunk and get on the water in 5 min (not exaggerating) these boats might be a consideration.
