I like the shoe storage idea. Been looking for a solution to keeping my often dirty, always stinky shoes out of the cabin.
My somewhat unique thing would likely be the ventilation system on my son's TD build, which is still a work in progress. On my TD I used two 120mm case fans to draw air out of the cabin. They are about 40 cfm each and with both turned on the air changes completely in the cabin in less than three minutes. My son chose to design a little more effective design. On my TD the fans exhaust into the galley which isn't ideal when the hatch is closed even with the vents to the outside that I installed later. Andy's solution was to create a ventilation port on the roof just above the fans. On his Generic Benroy profile the vent will exit out back towards the galley, but above the hatch hinge. And his TD will have four case fans which will double air movement. Even though I don't think water infiltration will be a problem I think we will create a couple removable plugs to seal the vents while being towed.

While building the vent my engineer son calculated that the vent opening is actually just over half the area of the fan's open area. While this will restrict the air movement a bit I don't think it will render the two extra fans useless.
I've seen some roof designs similar to this and give some credit to those tnttt designs for the idea to go this route. Though I am not sure if ventilation was the intention of their designs or not.
