I bought one of those pedal fishing kayaks last year… live close to a river with lots of fish in it. Hopefully get to do a little fishing this year.

Right now, gas is a problem.
A group of friends is going to Blinman this weekend, and I'm invited to tag along. It's a 640 km round trip by the most direct route.
I estimate I'll need minimum 75L of fuel to tow the TD that distance, which is currently selling for $2.21 per litre here in town and is guaranteed to be $2.50 in the Outback.
I can take a jerry can from here to make sure I can get back, so let's call t $2.21 per litre. That's $166 for fuel to go up Saturday, come back Sunday. Thinking twice.
On the other hand, the road does take me past a spring fed waterhole that has always been a good spot for yabbies (freshwater crayfish similar to your crawfish, though different family).
Decisions, decisions.
Maybe I should take the motorcycle and a bed roll, that would cut the fuel cost in half.
