Cooling Off

Postby Dahlia47 » Mon Jul 25, 2022 9:41 pm

I saw the chart in an earlier post for evaporative cooling. This is Texas. It won't work here. So I need a way to cool off my tiny travel trailer. I'm hoping to find something that I can run on my solar power pack. 12 V 200W 48000 mAh.
I got my little campout place and no electric. I don't want to run my generator at night. Too loud. It will keep me up. Fans in this heat and humidity don't work.

If you all have anything compact and doesn't use too much power, send it my way.

I am seeing 5000 btu window units getting down to the 400watt operating range. You might find 'something' in the 300watt range but one way or another I think you will need to increase your solar capacity to make it happen.

48 amps is not going to run any AC unit... That's not much power.
