What is acceptable max temp of fridge install compartment?

The fridge compartment on my Ascape has no roof vent, just top and bottom side vents.

I'm trying to determine at what compartment temperature the cooling fan should go on.
Trying not to have it running more than needed due to noise and power consumption.

Basically trying to determine the threshold of compartment temp just before inside fridge temps start to suffer and then maintain that as max temp in the compartment behind the fridge.

I would check with the maker of the fridge. It's not so much the threshold that the fridge can maintain your food cold at, as it is the threshold that the electronics can survive for extended life span.

What kind of fridge do you have, compression or absorption? You don't need a roof vent with a compressor fridge but it will use more and more power the hotter it gets.
