Well that fellow is a bit of a d**k and it’s apparent his momma never scrubbed his filthy yap with a bar of fels naptha, but he is mostly correct. Rather unfortunate incident.

I personally don't think it is good, I consider it yet another indication that western civilisation is in decline, but let me tell ya the average Aussie makes this bloke sound as pure as the driven snow. Some of then actually consider it a virtue, a positive quality, an example of good old Aussie larrikinism.
What they don't understand is that ol' school Aussie larrikins kept it for the pub or the shearing shed boards.
Hence the expression "ducks on the pond", the old shearer's warning that ladies were now present and the language must be minded.
