Have we seen this before?

Postby MickinOz » Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:15 pm

Teardrop at the boat ramp carpark this morning.
A commercially available one, but with a neat addition I don't think I've seen before.
It has these drive units mounted just in front of the wheels that have ribbed rollers on them. I assume they just push up against the tyres when you want to use them..
Looks like you put the front jockey wheel down, then you can move the whole thing around by battery power.
Zero strain.

Relationship savers for those that can't back into a camping spot?

Probably more like back savers for getting it in and out of the garage and unhooking/hooking it up, I'd say

The web page I looked at is not clear to me, but the one shown costs $1600. So, one for each side totals $3200 before taxes and shipping.

Nope, that’s $1600 for a pair of them. They sell them as two a two motor kit for single axles or four motors for a tandem.
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.
