Built out the final Pantry cab out of XPS. Working on anything over waist high being light! I ripped some of my waste FG panels and glued them in fo draw slide backing/mounting. Like what I see so far! I will fabric and paint (maybe) the outside of the cabinet and use some peel-n-stick veneer on the doors and draw fronts. Figure to back that up with some contact adhesive (water based).

Did a mockup of the wall cabinet, which will go to the ceiling, to figure out supports. Right off the back I see extending at least the bottom to the rear wall and using that open portion as a campsite shelf. Okay maybe a small rim of sorts or netting. Just liked the look as I set the mockup in place. I'll do pic or two tomorrow as it get's a little more done. ;)

I think I worked out my wall cabinet span issue and I'll get into that as I build and test. To say at least one aluminum angle and some FG panels will be used. Working out the draw slide mounting with the FG panel has me thinking!

Time for some pic's!
Finally got back to finishing the hatches.

I did this differently this time with the seal being inside vs. on the surface. Using aluminum angle to be the frame/stop and gasket seal with Sikafles as the mounting and joints seal. Did a cove rout on the upper lip of the door to aid moving water over the face and ended up mounting some Z bar over the top to work as rain diverter.

Works well!

Added turnbuckles this time at midship as a bracket wasn't working out and I like the different point of contact it makes. Now I have front/rear on bolted mounts Mounts welded on) and the mid turnbuckles. This makes removal easier than the F150 build!

With windows coming Tuesday I feel the 4th quarter press coming on!

>I need more veneer, but not here till mid August.. Oh well, some cabinets fronts are FG panel only. I can live with that :)

>Ordered the balance of my electrical needs, which are actually fairly small. I'm missing my two USB/12v charge panels and coming by Monday. Some additional wiring for who knows what.. But ready :)

>Plumbing I found I don't have on hand what I need and will get tomorrow at that Box Store I so despise.. My local Ace doesn't have what I need.. Water pickup worked, and drain work fantastic! Now the right tubing to fit it all.. :)

>Counters fitted and ready. I mean both sides! Lift top over frig ready for install and the lift table built, I need to design/make the leg. I'll get into that at some point..

>Balance of wall panels need to be cut. I'm templating and fitting, so once the windows are here most of the work is done. Or so I hope...

>Ceiling.. This is an ongoing battle.. I don't like blocking out all the light, yet don't want all that light or heat transference.. I think I have a solution and may sound deaden a bit. Ongoing process on the ceiling.. Another point I'll get to.

Hard week and a half coming, but I'm up for it! What's life without a Challenge or two?
Plan on traveling, having a beverage or three and relaxing on a run soon! :D

First of 5 windows installed! Arrived today and worked through everything... I'm ready for tommorow and installing the balance! Took one heck of a gamble to save $1200 and it worked! Researched and bought from a Alibaba supplier. I'll past info if you want.

Just saw the latest report of iceberg sights! 8 more!! I've never and hoped for seeing on this upcoming trip. I've routed this trip for several reasons. Current ETD is Wednesday the 26th. No I will not be 100%, but are we ever? As I am saying to Wifey... :D

Icebergs, Puffins and the furthest north! Knock two off the list, furthest north I hope to beat in the future.

Okay, I need to get back to work here..

You're going to have to edit the title of this thread.

Great work. And when you get a chance, the window link would be greatly appreciated.
