Removing the AC from my 2015 T@G. Anyone done it?

Postby matphat » Tue Apr 02, 2024 10:44 am

I have a 2015 T@G 5 Wide. I use it exclusively for Boondocking and primitive site camping. I never have shore power. I live in the Rockies. I don't need the ac. But I could use some extra storage. Thus I am planning to remove the AC unit.

Have any of your done this? Can you share your experience? Any gottchas? How about using this an an opportunity to create a pass thru to the galley?

Thanks in advance!

Hopefully, someone that's done it will chime in... but you might hit Facebook groups. I see three for T@G owners. More than likely someone that's on those pages has done it.

Thanks Tony. Truth be told I avoid FB at all costs. Even stuff like this. I appreciate it though. For the record, your book is still sitting bedside while I ponder the future of my camper build while using the T@G as a starter to let me know what I like and don't like. Thanks so, so much for all you do for the community. You are a paragon.
