I saw it this morning. I WANT it. $1k is a good price for something in that condition. Bare enough that we could modify it the way we want, yet still be vintage. I don't like the galley area at all, but that could be changed. I would miss the sink but that could be added if the galley was reconfigured. Now if I can talk my darling husband into it. Guess I'm going to have to get persuasive!

That's a real deal for an original Kit. Since it's already painted it would be very easy for you to make it match your met. The Kit is lighter than the Benroy as well.

I'll help you twist his arm.

I just read your note to Mark (DH) Nick. I got an "uh huh". LOL I guess I'm going to have to keep being persuasive. I'm afraid someone will do a buy it now before I can talk him into it. He says it still doesn't solve our problem of having room for the kids. I say we just find ANOTHER trailer for when we have the kids. This one for when we want to be cozy.

Well, it's gone. I missed it. I KNEW someone would scoop that up before I could get it. It was too good of a deal. (sighs) Hubby's just gotta learn to be more impulsive like his wife! :o

We're watching this trailer now. No buy it now so we'll wait to bid until the last day. It's not a teardrop ... but it would be something for all of us .. and I'll just have to keep looking for my tear.

You've got your work cut out for you... inside and out!!!

Mike...

P.S. You're not buying on the rebound, are you?

oh heck yeah! LOL

I don't mind if it's not perfect. We'd want to paint it anyway the way we like. I've requested many more photos. I wouldn't go real high on this trailer tho ... it's too rough for that.

I sure wish we had the skills you guys have. You make it look so easy building your own .... (eyeing that #*#$ motorcycle trailer in the driveway)

Well, once you get divorce from your rebound purchase, than come and see us. For the cost of 1 day's labor, you too can go home with a Weekender.

The program is not developed yet, it's still in the idea stage, but do you think a Weekender is something you think you might like? All you do is show up with a trailer and a pile of wood. You go home with a tiny trailer that you can sleep in, and that is all ready for you to customize!

Just wanna know your thoughts... :D

That "other" trailer is not for sale. Sorry. But if you decide you like the Weekender, let me know, and I will develop a building plan for it, so that it can be done in a weekend!

I'm working on the enhancement for lighter weight, since no one wants to haul around a really heavy teardrop...
