Building panel frames in place

Postby mikeschn » Fri Sep 03, 2004 10:58 am

I didn't plan on doing it this way, but it seems easy enough. I'm building the frames in place on the trailer. Later I plan on gluing up the luan to the frames, and trimming with a laminate router bit.

Then I'll come back and dis-assemble everything and insulate it, skin the inside, polyurethane it, and then do the final glue up... Just like Steve, build everything on the bench!!!

Mike...

P.S. Oh yes, here I am gluing up the frames...

Hey! Mike! It's not Saturday  Did you bugg out of work early??? I'm 'bout had it today at work,,,sort of working :? Headed home in a couple hours, to ponder the addition of some more cabinets in the galley.
Your weekender is evolving into quite a beauty, maybe your best so-far! IMHO!!

I reviewed my vacation schedule till the end of the year, and just happened to notice that I have an extra 4 hours... Just imagine that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the boss said have a great weeken..... I imagine he was saying "weekend" but I didn't hang around long enough to find out! I bugged out just as fast as my little feet would carry me!

So yes, I am having a blast, playing with wood, no deadlines, no rushing to get done before bed time... just having a grand old time... :D
