Hello...... ?????? anyone "alive" out there????? or is it just me???? (being I am still re-coping from by-pass surgery and am still alive to talk about it - what a deal!! ) got about 2 months till the first road trip - time to start packing up, slowly, very slowly

Hope you are getting stronger everyday!
We are just starting to think camping Sandi and I sat down with the calendar, the map book, and a glass of beer last night to see where would like to explore this year.
Also starting to think about our trip south to Shasta and the "On our Way Gathering" sent Doug & Betsy an email last night.
What are your thoughts at this point????????

Yay Ted! Glad to hear the surgery went well. Guess that means you'll be sticking around for a good while yet.

Greg M., the heart doctor said I should - with surgery - be good for least another 20 years or so (asked if there would be warranty with the surgery to which all I got was a little chuckle turned 63 4Feb17)
Brian, I have been looking at the southbound map also. but just don't seem to see any "NEW" direction/roads that we haven't driven yet except for maybe some different side trips enroute No matter what route we take, just hope it isn't as cold as it was last year in Lakeview! So far, since the surgery, the cold has not been bothering me like it had before and that weird feeling I was always getting has not been there at all so they may have got it - so far so good

Talked to Claudia this morning, and told her we would definitely not be going through Lakeview.
Dave and Pam would like us to come camp just south of their place inn Burney on our way????
Oh, and talked to Doug and Betsy to confirm the Ag Museum for the "On Tour Way" Gathering Apr. 21 -23rd.
Maybe we might look at sneaking back across to the wet side and picking up Charlie in Grants Pass........this would mean some time on the dreaded I.5
Snowing here again today just when we could see green grass again?? So I am not highly motivated to go out and work.
So I am having a catch up day on the computer, updating Teardrop stuff!

Brian, have no problem with another Lakeview stay or Burney camping (would love to see Dave & Pam's place!!) It was a fairly nice place in Lakeview and if we had too, we could probably stay there again if we asked - their phone ## is in the BIG camp book I have (and you too, if you still have it? being I got you one too) If I bring the extra big winter jacket this time along with a couple more blanky's, it will probably nice and warm this trip and would not even have a need for any of them - you know, the spare tire syndrome we've talked about!
