What do I know I did 3/4 inch outside. its bear proof. if the insulation and teh spars are all level you should be fine with 1/8th inch. The next one will be 2 layers of 1./8th inch.

Bears can peel off a car door off. No offense, but I don't think there is such thing as a bear-proof travel trailer. But resistant, perhaps.

On all my Skin-On-Frame Kayaks I use 8 oz. Polyester....... But mostly all builders use oil based paint.... Or a urethane ,which is very durable, to waterproof the fabric...And these boats can take a beating..especially ones covered in ballistic nylon.....

The Drop Bears here are are also extremely savage. You NEVER park under trees in the bush and must always camp in groups. So many people have come back with hair raising stories of being attacked by the bears in the outback.
