Added a plug in table

Postby desertmoose » Thu Aug 30, 2012 6:48 pm

When I put the removeable rear bumper on my tear, I had in mind the welded on receivers would be useful.

I just put one of them to use.

the table has a hole to hold our "sink", and I made a disk to plug the hole when we don't want the sink there.

Image

The leg comes off the receiver at a compound angle so that it fits into the table storage drawer. Here it is on the bottom of the plug in table. It attaches to the table with three wingnuts.

and finally, here's the table in the storage drawer.

the table is REAL solid. No wobble at all. We're heading out in the morning for the weekend to try it out.

Very nice Sam! Makes me wish I had put some receivers on the corners of my teardrop rather than just one in the middle.

Thank you for the inspiration DM
I've taken your idea and played with it a little. My version is not in "real life" yet so there may be some changes yet.....

Nice touch Moose! I see the chip bowl, but no dip for fellow tear droppers to come by and chew the cud. Won't get many visitors without free food! Great idea I like it!
