In my opinion.............and it's based on sleeping in a converted van in the winter..........any type heater, propane, electric, etc. will do well with preparing your teardrop for sleeping. Just put it inside for long enough to heat the interior and take it out and vent the cabin before sleeping. As you've mentioned, never use a propane heater WHILE sleeping inside your trailer. There are trailer heaters which isolate the flame from the cabin which can be purchased and installed, but as small as a teardrop cabin is, I'd imagine the insulation in the walls and ceiling and a good comforter and sleeping partner would be about all you'll need.

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.
