Training luan, how long to keep wet?

I have strapped down eighth inch luan, applied hot towels. Should I just let dry now, or repeat the process of hot towels /let dry, how long to leave like this? I won't get to attach until next weekend, so I have some time

If it bends to the curve you want, just let it dry and leave it there. There will be some spring back of course but it'll glue down just fine with your strap system (plus I use 1/4" crown staples).
