Fender Mounts & Door #2

I decides to tackle the fender mounts today. Here is what I came up with.

Two pieces of 1/2" MDO, som bolts, some screws & some t-nuts.

I will glue & screw the MOD pieces to the wall. & then Bondo the top.

I wil the run a bead of caulk between the fender & the mount to keep it from holding water.

I used t-nut & bolts to attach the fender to the mount. Every thing under will get a coat of rubberized automotive undercoating.

This is not 100% complete but I had to share what it will look like.

...that looks good BUT, me personally, I would consider soaking that wood piece down with some epoxy...especially the edges before the doing the undercoating.....

Finished door #2. Man it was so much easier the the first one.

I just need to add the trim & hardware.
