3/4" skeletonized walls for long (14-15') walls?

Postby iconicflux » Sat Feb 13, 2021 11:28 am

I've been calculating the weight differences between foamie with plywood, skeletonized, and studded out walls. I've noted that skeletonized appears to be a significant weight savings over furred out to the tune of about 60 lbs per wall.

Do skeletonized walls work for long walls? I'd really like to do this using skeletonized walls if possible.

Where are people buying windows for the skeletonized walls? It seems like the windows I've been seeing are for walls 1 1/2" thick.

Thanks
