Hatch problem

I discovered a problem with my hatch. It had a 3/4" twist in it. I managed to get the twist out, boy, was I lucky.

Paul...that's what those rubber battery lid hold down straps are for!!!...but I'm thinking it was that southern hemisphere thing...up here, it would have been off on the other side though... Doug

I see in your picture you have my two main tools of teardrop de-construction. Yup, a hammer and chisle can fix most anything if you hit it enough times.

The frustration really set in after that pic and now the whole thing has gone to hatch heaven

I chickened out on number 1 but, now I'm committed to having a hatch on number 2. I guess I need the experience

Paul I just had to do that. But seriously after 25 years body and fender work I have been in your shoes many time. Sometimes I wanted a bigger hammer the sledge works good.... awww feel better now.
