Glassed plywood vs. plain plywood

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Maybe full epoxy encapsulation is a bit overkill. Probably why my projects always turn into never ending sagas. How about at least epoxying all the plywood edges to prevent swelling there?

I agree with sealing all the edges! I used CPES to seal all the edges on my Baja Benroy. Never had a problem with it!!!

shouldnt the bottom edges of the walls be sealed with epoxy before they are attached to the floor?

Seems like the first place ply would fail would be by absorbing water through the edges.

Right you are Survey.....I seal them up using a thickened epoxy so that I can fill any voids in the plys... the door edges get completely sealed off also as well as the ends on the galley hatch curve...I use any left over epoxy on those areas as I end up putting a fair amount on and then sanding it all down so it looks like it's almost plastic formed...
