Confused on which welder to purchase

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Thanks Kerry, my touch is a little light & the technique I need to remember is to pull the trigger all the way since sometimes I don't make contact through the whole weld. Once I get use to it I can be more agressive. I have a piece of 1/4"x 4" x 12" steel to practice on. It all reminds me of the Fourth of July in a way with all the sparks, cheap fireworks fix for me. Danny

Try an old stick welder in the AC mode for some fireworks!

Danny, the welds are look'n good !
Is it hard to feel the trigger on the torch ? If so , the next time try tig gloves . they're still welding gloves but much softer . They will still protect your hands well . Kerry
