Tandem Hauler Revisited - Factory Trailer recommendations??

Postby MikeDrz » Sun Feb 25, 2007 3:26 pm

Hello all,

I am amazed a year has passed, but I am no further along than I was then! amazing how life gets in the way.

anyway, turns out we will be doing a lot of driving up and down I95 as both sets of parents have retired to florida.

so the need for the tear/toy hauler has increased.

I did get a bigger tow vehicle, a Saturn Relay, which can pull 3,000 pounds.

that will let me move up to a 5' wide chassis, and perhaps 10' long

still want something like my avatar pic.

I would like recommendations on an HF or similar trailer.

something that can roll at highway speeds for some time without tire/bearing issues.

Hey Mike, I saw one of those Mobosat motorized units recently... with an $8000 price tag. What's left to build the tear?

Yes, I realize you're kidding... a reasonable "tiny" trailer would only have a manual dish and 27" TV!
