How to screw up a teardrop

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Poly remains soft for about 3-5 days if under 70 degrees... Enamel can remain soft for over a week without hardner and also pending temperature. I don't know how either would dry over kilz - that's a new combination. Kilz is more of a blocker than a primer in my experience. I've always used a true oil primer for enamel paints w/ hardner. Call the store and see if he has a chemical stripper for that paint.

Remember to let the whole job cool down for several hours after you've switched the lights off - they do make good 'local curing ovens', but hot paint tends to be soft paint and that won't sand well. Let it cool and it'll get harder and so sand more freely.

Good luck critter. Sanding does seem to take forever doesn't it. Just think of the nice arms you will have when it is over. 8)
