Gap around door

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Postby Airspeed » Wed Apr 25, 2007 5:00 pm

I almost have the door mounted,I went with a 1/8th" gap all around.
I got very lucky and the gap is very consistent all the way. Now if my hinge fits like I want it to I will breath a sigh of relief! I am going to mount my lockset in awhile and mount the door so wish me luck that all fits!
I really dont want to have to cut the door and trim a second time!
Thanks for all the advise! Aaron

I'd like to see detailed photos of your finished product, to see how you sealed 'er up, etc... and good luck.. if you're not already done. ...if you are...well, then, congratulations.
