Scott,

Any number of urethane sealant/adhesives will work well. Usually the easiest thing is to go into your local auto parts store and get at tube of the urethane adhesive used to install car windshields.

If you can track it down the prefered product we have found is Sikaflex. Much easier to clean up and super good adhesion.

Cary,

I've been looking for the Sikaflex eurathane adhesive that you recommend. Apparently "Sikaflex" is a product name given to a family of adhesive products. Do you have any numbers that might narrow the search to the exact product you are using?

Cary,

Do you use this Sikaflex under all of your exterior mouldings? You told me on the phone how easy it is to clean up, but I forgot the technique you use. Does it just wipe up like rubber cement, or do you need a solvent of some type?

We do use it under the trim. The reason is it easy to clean up is it doesn't really adhere when not under pressure. So, what ever squirts out you don't touch and let it set up. Once it completely dries your trim it tight to the trim with a sharp knife and peel it off the trailer. Really easy. Any little stubborn spots come off easily with some laquer thinner. If that were silicone or other urethanes you would have issues getting it off the metal after it sets up.
