What does everyone use to protect aluminum skin?

I want to put some type of protectant on my 3003 aluminum skin and am curious what you guys use? I have seen some suggest "Sharkhide",but has anyone tried it?
I have used "Mothers" polish on other projects but nothing as big as a tear and nothing exposed to the weather.
I asked the manufacturer of my aluminum about clearcoats and they said it is a very bad idea on 3003 aluminum as it will not stick even with special primers or acids,I checked with my paint supplier and they confirmed that,so I want to use some type of protectant, even if I have to use it several times a year.
So, Can anyone suggest a product that they have used? My aluminum has a brushed finish and I want to keep that look.
Thanks for any suggestions!!! Aaron

I'm in the process of removing deep scratches in my mill finish aluminum. If your skins are in primo condition you could try Terminator Polymer Sealant. I may use it myself when I get to that point of my project.
Here's the website where you can get it. Look around there as they have lots of information on cleaning and protecting aluminum. :D Danny
