Tortuga

Postby Reddiver » Fri Nov 16, 2007 4:46 pm

Well I have started to build Tortuga . Some friends are coming over tomorrow to help me flip her over. Got all the welding done I will be glad to get back to making sawdust . I learned a valuable lesson though . When drilling holes is steel don't bush away the sawdust with your index finger. Its not sawdust!

Lol... I resemble that remark.. Unfortunately, I keep re-learning that lesson. (And it's matching lesson, after welding, the steel is really hot and hurts to touch it)

Good luck on your build.

Reddiver how did you come up with Tortuga??? Sorry if you explained somewhere else!!!

My dad was on the USS Tortuga...while in the Navy and just wondering if that was why!
It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.
