Yes 1/4 is a buger bear to make the Benroy turns. But it can be done.

For those of you who are too lazy to go to that thread, here it is here.

It's called a centaflex hinge and it's about halfway down the page.
Arne is after names and numbers if someone contacts them.
Cheers
Paul

Thanks for the link Paul. ITB has an office about 10 minutes from home for me.

That looks like a nice hinge, wish I'd have seen that before I mounted mine.
I didn't see a price though.

Scott: :)

They appear to be a distributor for the European hinge.
Their website is not very flush but the phone number could bring some
satisfaction for prices.

The issue is that this type of hinge seems to be distributed in
Europe and to find a distributor in the USA and Canada is a chore.

Went and picked mine up today, $67AUD for a 5ft (1.6m) centreflex hinge. It's pretty much the last piece I was having trouble with so a big thanks to Paul C for the UES info :) While I was there I asked where it came from and it is indeed imported from England to Australia.

Cheers

Your builds coming along nicely. I noticed your input on the exploreoz site, too.

The ph no. for the centaflex hinge is 888 819 2639 (ask for Rene).... I'm getting a price on it... it comes 118 inches long, and I need about 64", so they will cut it to 6 feet and send me both pieces... I'm waiting for price and shipping costs from Canada....

118 - 64 is 54.. 3 inches too short....

The cost of the hinge is around 90 + 32 shipping to the east coast from Canada.. our falling dollar has raised the price.. I have to think about this.. it is getting pricey..
