I had a local metal fabrication shop bend my 1 x 1 inch square tubing. They bent five pieces, which included the tubing stock, for $75.

Take a look at page 4 of Sumner's web site. He used 1/8 X 1" strap to form the sides of his trailer. We considered doing that but we decided to use 1X1 because it was easier for us to shape the sides.

there was some boys from the old forum that made all steel trailers, they looked pretty good too, I think they were from Wisconsin or close to it.
