Well, Deano ...

... you could start with 3 sheets of 5x9 or 5x10 plywood (1 for the floor, and 1 for each wall) and then you wouldn'y have to worry about connecting or splicing/scarfing any plywood together, and you could use the off-fall for the cabinetry ... ...

That's one thought, anyway ...

Good Luck, and ...

CHEERS!

I'm currently building the Generic Benroy as well - 5' wide x 8'8" long and 5' high. No one I talked to in the Oklahoma City area had anything larger than standard 4x8 sheets. Sounds like some areas have bigger sheets, but, I couldn't find them here. I ended up going with 2 sheets of 1/2" thick 5x5 Baltic Birch for the floor. For the walls, I'm building internal frames (sandwich style construction with insulation) which requires 2 sheets of 1/4" thick 5x5 Baltic Birch per side for the outside skins and 1/8" interior skins. It takes longer to build the frames and splice the plywood, but it is working. I haven't decided what to do for the roof skins yet.
