I used the nylon braided rope so I don't worry 'bout it being a dust catcher, just a 'swipe' with a soft 'whisk' broom occasionally takes care of any dust. If you're using 'poly' or nylon rope just hold the cut end over a lit candle or even a butane lighter for a few seconds & it will 'bond' the fibers & prevent fraying. Your TD's lookin' better all th' time
